Prashant Waghmare

Prashant Waghmare serves as an Adjunct Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering within the Faculty of Engineering at the University of Alberta, where he contributes expertise in fluid dynamics and sustainable engineering systems.

His research spans critical areas including microscale fluid mechanics, energy system optimization, water resource management, and nanofluidic applications. Leading the iSSE Lab, Dr. Waghmare focuses on interdisciplinary solutions for environmental sustainability, with particular emphasis on thermal management technologies and resource-efficient engineering design.
