Pranav Patel

Pranav Patel serves as a Clinical Professor at the University of California, Irvine with dual appointments in the Department of Medicine and Department of Biomedical Engineering, where he holds leadership roles as Chief of the Division of Cardiology and Director of the Cardiac Catheterization Lab.

His research program centers on advancing interventional cardiology through Intravascular physiology & imaging techniques, optimizing Quality & Outcomes in cardiovascular procedures, and expanding applications in Peripheral Vascular disease and Preventive Medicine. This multidisciplinary work bridges clinical practice with engineering innovation to improve diagnostic precision and therapeutic interventions.
