Pramod Sangi Reddy is a Professor in both the Mechanical Engineering and Materials Science and Engineering departments at the University of Michigan, College of Engineering. He holds a Ph.D. in Applied Science and Technology from the University of California, Berkeley (2007), an M.Tech. in Computer Aided Design and Automation from the Indian Institute of Technology (2002), and a B.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology (2002).
Professor Reddy's research focuses on nanoscale charge and energy transport, thermoelectric devices, microscale heat transfer, organic photovoltaics, scanning probe microscopy, and optics. His work falls under the broader research areas of Energy and Micro/Nano Engineering. He has developed novel experimental techniques for measuring thermal transport at the atomic scale, leading to significant discoveries in the field.
