Dr. Pradeep Rohatgi is a Distinguished Professor at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee's College of Engineering and Applied Science, serving in the Materials Science and Engineering Department. He directs the UWM Center for Advanced Materials Manufacture and holds joint appointments in Biomedical Engineering and Mechanical Engineering. With a career spanning over five decades, Dr. Rohatgi has co-authored twelve books and more than 400 scientific papers while holding 20 U.S. patents. His foundational research on Cast Metal Composites is recognized as a landmark in the 11,000-year history of metal casting.
