Pradeep K. Atrey

Pradeep K. Atrey is an Associate Professor in the Department of Computer Science at the University at Albany, State University of New York. He directs the computer science undergraduate program and co-founded the Albany Lab for Privacy and Security (ALPS). His research focuses on security and privacy in multimedia systems, including cloud-based analytics, disinformation detection, applied cryptography, and social media analysis. Dr. Atrey has published over 130 articles in top-tier venues like ACM and IEEE journals/conferences, with funding from NSERC (Canada), DFAIT, and the Saudi Arabian government. He serves on editorial boards of journals such as ACM TOMM and IEEE Transactions on Multimedia.
