Dr. Prabukumar Chinnusamy is a Research Fellow at the Centre for Manufacturing and Materials. He holds a Doctorate in Materials Engineering from the National Institute of Technology Karnataka (2021), focusing on silver nanowires and MoS2/metal oxide hybrids. His research interests span water electrolysis for hydrogen generation, solid oxide fuel cells, battery technologies, and metal nanowires. He has contributed to advancements in electrochemical performance of battery anodes, nanomaterial synthesis techniques, and energy storage systems.

- REWAISE (2020–present): Focused on anion exchange membrane electrolyzers.
- Advanced Porous Materials and Processes for Next-Gen AEM Electrolysers (2023–2024): Involving metal-organic frameworks and porous materials.
