Poonam Thakur is an Assistant Professor at the School of Biology, Indian Institute of Science Education and Research Thiruvananthapuram. Her research focuses on Parkinson’s disease (PD), specifically the molecular mechanisms of neurodegeneration, development of mouse models, and neuroprotective strategies.
