Pooja Sidney is Associate Professor and Developmental, Social, Health Area Coordinator in the Department of Psychology at the University of Kentucky. Her Cognition and Development Lab investigates mathematical learning processes, particularly analogical reasoning in fraction understanding and interventions to reduce health innumeracy.
Research examines how analogies facilitate transfer between mathematical concepts, math attitude formation, and visual representations for health risk communication.
