Guido Poli is a Full Professor of General Pathology at Vita-Salute San Raffaele University's School of Medicine since 2016, with a career spanning over three decades in HIV immunopathogenesis. He has led the AIDS Immunopathogenesis Unit at San Raffaele Scientific Institute since 1994 and previously worked at the NIH's Laboratory of Immunoregulation (1987-1993) and Mario Negri Institute (1983-1986).
