Po-Shen Loh

Po-Shen Loh is an Associate Professor of Mathematical Sciences at Carnegie Mellon University, a Hertz Foundation Fellow, and the national coach of the USA International Mathematical Olympiad team. His work spans academic research, mathematics education, and social entrepreneurship.

Loh's research focuses on combinatorics, probability theory, and their intersections with computer science. He is also a pioneer in mathematics education, founding Expii.com—a free personalized learning platform—and revolutionizing middle school math curriculum with creative thinking approaches. During the COVID-19 pandemic, he developed NOVID, the first app using network radar for pandemic control.

Hertz Foundation Fellow (2004), Churchill Scholarship recipient, and National Science Foundation Graduate Research Fellow, Loh's accolades include:
