Dr. Pirooz Mohazzabi is a Professor of Physics at the University of Wisconsin-Parkside's Mathematics And Physics Department. He holds a PhD in Materials Science and Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley (1975), alongside an MS (1972) and a Bachelor's in Chemistry (1969). His career includes over 35 years at UW-Parkside, where he transitioned from Assistant Professor (1986) to Full Professor (1994).
His research spans theoretical and computational physics, with over 100 publications across physics, chemistry, mathematics, geology, engineering, and medicine.
