Pip Dickens is a Lecturer at the Lancaster Institute for the Contemporary Arts (LICA), part of Lancaster University's Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences. She teaches on the Fine Art course, focusing on painting, drawing, and digital media. Her research explores visual perception, color reception, and the interplay of light and movement in two-dimensional art. She is a core member of the Teaching Painting organisation, established in 2015 to investigate contemporary painting pedagogy through exhibitions, conferences, and workshops.
