Piotr Sablik

Professor Piotr Sablik is a distinguished academic at the West Pomeranian University of Technology's Faculty of Biotechnology and Animal Husbandry, where he serves as a full professor in the Department of Animal Reproductive Biotechnology and Environmental Hygiene. With over three decades of academic experience since earning his PhD in 1992, he has established himself as a leading researcher in animal reproduction and nutrition.

His research interests focus on dairy cattle reproduction, selenium metabolism in animals, environmental factors affecting animal production, and cattle health and welfare. Professor Sablik has published extensively on topics including reproductive biotechnology, selenium concentrations in animal products, and the application of data analysis methods in animal husbandry. His work demonstrates consistent collaboration with researchers like Renata Pilarczyk and Wilhelm Grzesiak, indicating strong institutional research continuity.

As an academic leader, he serves as Chairman of the Scientific Council of Acta Scientiarum Polonorum series Zootechnica since 2009 and is the Editor of Acta Scientiarum Polonorum s. Zootechnika, a nationally recognized scientific journal. His professional memberships include the Polish Society of Animal Production, where he participates in the Cattle Breeding Section.
