Piotr Rajchowski

Piotr Rajchowski is an Assistant Professor and Deputy Head of Department at the Department of Radiocommunication Systems and Networks, Faculty of Electronics Telecommunications and Informatics, Gdańsk University of Technology.

His research focuses on wireless communication technologies with particular emphasis on:

• 5G/LTE network signal processing and analysis
• Novel applications of cellular signals for infrastructure monitoring
• UAV detection through radio signal analysis
• Positioning systems in urban environments
• NB-IoT and low-power communication technologies

Dr. Rajchowski's recent work demonstrates innovative approaches to repurposing existing cellular infrastructure for secondary applications such as train detection and UAV monitoring, showing particular expertise in signal processing techniques applied to real-world wireless communication systems. His publications reveal a strong practical orientation with experimental validation using real signal measurements.

His current research projects include:
