Piotr Muryjas

Piotr Muryjas is a Lecturer at the Department of Computer Science, Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, Lublin University of Technology. He is based in room PE113 of the Pentagon Building and is actively involved in teaching and research activities during the 2024/2025 summer semester.

His research interests lie at the intersection of computer science and real-world applications, particularly in 3D technology, digital twins, movement analysis, and accessibility. His work emphasizes universal design and the application of computing to preserve cultural heritage, such as regional dance traditions, and support health and societal well-being.

The projects he is associated with—such as the T1DCoach, Digital Twin for the Blind, and Save from Oblivion—highlight a strong commitment to socially impactful computing.
