Ping Wang

Professor Ping Wang is a leading academic at the Blizard Institute, part of Queen Mary University of London, within the Faculty of Medicine and Dentistry. His work bridges immunology, molecular biology, and translational medicine.

Research Interests: Professor Wang's work focuses on the regulation of antigen processing and presentation via mechanisms like tapasin's role in MHC I peptide assembly. He pioneers nano-vaccine development for chronic infections (e.g., HBV) by engineering ER membrane particles to deliver antigens and cytokines directly to T cells. His team also investigates intrinsic regulation of B and T cells in autoimmunity and pathogen response, and Egr genes in lymphocyte function, including their control of immune tolerance and autoimmune disease prevention via Bcl6 and Batf regulation.

Article Trends: His publications span immunology, cancer, virology, and biomedical engineering, with a focus on Egr transcription factors, nano-vaccine systems, antigen presentation mechanisms, and T/B cell interactions in autoimmunity and chronic disease.
