Pilar Zuber is a Senior Lecturer and Director of the Bachelor of Science in Public Health (BSPH) Program at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. She is affiliated with the Department of Epidemiology and Community Health within the College of Health and Human Services (CHHS). Her roles include serving as a Representative-at-Large on the Honors Council until June 2026.
Dr. Zuber holds a BS in Community Health Education from Towson University, an MSPH and PhD in Health Services Research from UNC Charlotte. She is a Master Certified Health Education Specialist (MCHES) and Certified in Public Health (CPH).
Her research focuses on alcohol use and mental health issues among college students, time-to-degree factors, and the experiences of 5th-year students. Teaching specialties include Healthy Lifestyles, Foundations of Public Health, and Issues in Health and Quality of Life. She actively contributes to curriculum development through her BSPH program leadership.
