
About
Pietro Veronesi is the Sherman and Vivian Chao Distinguished Service Professor of Finance at the University of Chicago Booth School of Business. He serves as Deputy Dean for Faculty and is a research associate of the National Bureau of Economic Research and a research fellow of the Center for Economic and Policy Research. He previously held leadership roles as a director of the American Finance Association and co-editor of the Review of Financial Studies.
His research focuses on asset pricing, stock and bond valuation under Bayesian uncertainty and learning, equilibrium models of return predictability, and the impact of political and government interventions on asset prices. He has contributed extensively to journals such as the Journal of Political Economy, American Economic Review, Journal of Finance, and Review of Financial Studies.
