Pietro Modestini

Pietro Modestini is a researcher at the Department of Music, Max Planck Institute for Empirical Aesthetics in Frankfurt am Main. His work focuses on concert research, the aesthetic experience of live music, and embodied cognition in musical contexts, using phenomenological approaches and micro-phenomenological interview techniques.

His current work includes a doctoral thesis at the Max Planck Institute, focusing on the aesthetic dimensions of live performance in Western classical music.
