Pierre Hausemer

Pierre Hausemer is a Lecturer at the European Institute of the London School of Economics (LSE). He is currently a Partner at EY’s Brussels office, where he advises EU institutions on digital and sustainability policy, leading a team of 40 professionals. His career spans roles in public policy consultancy, including Managing Director at VVA Economics & Policy, and economic consulting in Washington, DC, focusing on telecom liberalization, copyright, and international trade.

His research and professional work center on EU politics and policy, regulatory analysis, economics of innovation, internal market dynamics, consumer policy, and digital policy. At LSE, he has taught quantitative research methods for postgraduate students. He is fluent in English, French, and German, with basic Spanish and Italian proficiency.
