Pier P. Di Fiore is a Professor of General Pathology at the Medical School of the University of Milan since 2000, and has served as Provost for Interdisciplinary Programs at the same university since 2013. He is also the founder and Professor at the European School of Molecular Medicine since 2004.
Research Focus: His work spans cancer research, emphasizing molecular oncology, cell biology, endocytosis, stem cells, functional genomics, and molecular mechanisms of cellular transformation. He actively contributes to translating basic molecular oncology discoveries into clinical tools for improved cancer patient management.
