Phung Dao is an Assistant Professor in Second Language Education at the University of Cambridge's Faculty of Education. He teaches MPhil/MEd courses in Research in Second Language Education and supervises PhD students. Previously, he held positions at Manchester Metropolitan University (2018–2022) and taught at institutions in Australia, Canada, and Vietnam. His research focuses on instructed second language acquisition, technology-enhanced language teaching, learner engagement, and Task-Based Language Teaching (TBLT).
