Philseok Lee

Dr. Philseok Lee is an Associate Professor of Industrial and Organizational Psychology at George Mason University (GMU), where he teaches courses such as personnel selection, psychometrics, and multivariate statistics. He holds editorial roles at journals like Human Resource Development Quarterly and Organizational Research Methods. His research focuses on applying AI, machine learning, and psychometric modeling to improve personnel assessments, addressing challenges like faking in selection processes and cross-cultural measurement issues. Lee’s lab recently won the 2024 SIOP Machine Learning Competition for advancing AI-driven assessment methods.

Education: PhD in Industrial and Organizational Psychology from the University of South Florida (2016).

Research interests include:
