Phillip Mead is an Associate Professor in the Architecture Program at the College of Art and Architecture, University of Idaho. He teaches Architectural History, Introduction to the Built Environment, and Wellness and Design seminars. A graduate of the University of Texas at Austin and University of Idaho, he studied under Charles W. Moore, a pioneer of Postmodern Architecture, and contributed to works of Antoine Predock and Bertram Goodhue.
His research examines wellness issues in design, encompassing environmental control systems and architectural history. Previously taught at Newschool of Architecture in San Diego and Texas Tech University.
