Phillip Lai is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Art at Goldsmiths, University of London, where he has taught since 2001. He holds an MA and BA in Fine Art from Chelsea College of Art & Design and is known for his sculptural practice that interrogates material limits and the transformation of everyday objects.
