Philippe RENAUD

Philippe RENAUD is a Professor at the University of Bern, Faculty of Chemistry and Biochemistry, serving as the Swiss coordinator for the SCOPES international research project. His academic work focuses on chemical synthesis methodologies with biological applications.

On November 20, 2014, Professor RENAUD presented a seminar at the Institute for Chemistry of the University of the Academy of Sciences of Moldova titled "From Radical Reactions to Natural Product Synthesis" as part of the SCOPES international project. His research focuses on developing efficient synthesis methods for biologically relevant compounds through novel reaction pathways and environmentally sustainable approaches.

His seminar attracted undergraduate and graduate students from UnASM's Department of Physics and Chemistry, along with researchers and PhD candidates specializing in organic chemistry and natural compound biochemistry.
