Philippe Marchand

Philippe Marchand is a Professor at the Institut de recherche sur les forêts, Université du Québec en Abitibi-Témiscamingue. His research focuses on modeling processes influencing spatial distribution of populations, including seed dispersal, seedling establishment, animal movement, and forest epidemic spread. His expertise combines spatial ecology with Bayesian statistical approaches to analyze ecological systems.
