Philippe COURTIER

Philippe COURTIER is a Professor and currently heads the University of Technology of Compiègne. He is a specialist in numerical weather prediction, with prior roles including chairing the Dynamic Oceanography and Climatology Laboratory (P6, CNRS, IRD), leading operational meteorology programs at CNES, and serving as Deputy Director General of Météo-France. He has also held senior positions such as Director of the École nationale des ponts et chaussées, Director General of EMLyon Business School, and Head of the Research Department at the Ministry of Ecology. His research focuses on meteorological modeling, oceanography, and environmental systems.
