Philippe Bonnifait

Philippe Bonnifait is a Professor at Université de Technologie de Compiègne (UTC), affiliated with Heudiasyc UMR UTC-CNRS 7253 research laboratory. He currently serves as Director of Heudiasyc UMR 7253 since 2018, Head of the Autonomous Land Robotics axis for EQUIPEX+ TIRREX since 2022, and Steering Committee Member of SIVALab joint laboratory (UTC/CNRS/Renault) since 2017.

His research focuses on robotics and autonomous systems, particularly in mobile robotics networks and intelligent transportation applications. Previous leadership roles include Head of Mobile Robotics Network for EQUIPEX ROBOTEX (2011-2019), Vice-President of UTC's Scientific Council (2013-2017), and Director of CNRS's GdR Robotique (2015-2016).

As a core member of UTEAM supervisory committee and Labex MS2T Master's program leadership, his work bridges academic research and industrial applications in autonomous vehicle technology.
