Dr. Philippa Ryan is the Lloyd’s Register Foundation Senior Research Fellow in the Centre for Assuring Autonomy at the Department of Computer Science, University of York. Her work focuses on safety assurance in software and autonomous systems, particularly in the context of artificial intelligence and machine learning.
Her research interests lie at the intersection of software engineering and safety-critical systems, with a strong emphasis on Software Safety, AI Safety, and the Responsible use of AI.
