Philippa Rickard

Philippa Rickard is a Research Associate at the Global Research Institutes and The Lyell Centre at Heriot-Watt University. Her work focuses on sea-surface microlayers, surfactant behavior, and their environmental impacts. She contributes to UN Sustainable Development Goals through marine research.

Her research interests include marine chemistry, oceanography, and atmospheric interactions. Notable projects include the MILAN Campaign studying diel light effects and surfactant reactivity in estuaries.
