Dr. Philippa Mullins is an Assistant Professor at the College of Humanities and Social Sciences of the American University of Armenia (AUA), where she teaches on the MA in Human Rights and Social Justice. She is also a Visiting Fellow at the International Inequalities Institute (III) at the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE). Her research focuses on disability organizing, civil society, social movements, and identity, with a particular emphasis on vulnerability and resistance. She holds a PhD from LSE’s Department of Social Policy, supported by the UK Economic and Social Research Council.
Her expertise includes qualitative and participatory research methods. She is a Fellow of the UK Higher Education Academy. Mullins speaks English, French, and Russian. Her work bridges academic research and practical applications in human rights and social justice.
