Philipp Rutz

Philipp Rutz is a Research Fellow at the University of Siegen's Siegener Mittelstandsinstitut (SMI), specializing in ERP system implementation and knowledge sharing in SMEs. Since September 2021, he has worked on the BMBF-funded ExpertERP project, developing sustainable structures for optimized ERP usage during operational phases.

His research investigates knowledge sharing mechanisms, ERP appropriation processes, and socio-technical solutions for business process optimization. Rutz's work emphasizes practice-centered approaches to technology adoption and user training methodologies.
