Philip Sullivan

Dr. Philip Sullivan is Professor and Graduate Program Director in Kinesiology at Brock University. His research examines mental health in sports environments, including differences between student-athletes and non-athletes, mental health literacy of coaches and officials, and psychological aspects of coaching and team dynamics. Funded by SSHRC and World Anti-Doping Agency.

Teaching includes Sport Psychology, Applied Sport Psychology, and statistical methods. Recent publications investigate sleep patterns affecting athlete mental health, coach-athlete mental health conversations, and resilience during COVID-19.
