Philip Schuster

Philip Schuster is a Professor of Particle Physics and Astrophysics at Stanford University and Chair of the Particle Physics & Astrophysics department at SLAC National Accelerator Laboratory. His theoretical research identifies dark matter properties, develops new experimental tests beyond the Standard Model, and studies theories of long-range forces involving massless particles. He is actively involved in experiments like APEX (co-spokesperson), LDMX (physics coordinator), and HPS.

Schuster's recent investigations explore axion detection, milli-charge dark matter, accelerator-based searches for light WIMP-like particles, and continuous-spin generalizations of gauge theories.
