Dr. Philip Philip is a Professor of Oncology and Pharmacology at Wayne State University, holding the Kathryn Cramer Endowed Chair in Cancer Research. He serves as Vice President for Medical Affairs at the Karmanos Cancer Institute and leads the Gastrointestinal and Neuroendocrine Multidisciplinary Team. His research focuses on gastrointestinal cancers, pancreatic cancer, and clinical pharmacology, with emphasis on developing novel therapies.
He chairs the pancreatic cancer committee at SWOG and is a member of ASCO and ILCA. With over 200 publications, his recent work explores overdose epidemiology, virtual treatment courts, and public health crises. Awards include Fellowship in the Royal College of Physicians.
