Philip M. Powell is a Professor of Music at Coastal Carolina University, where he has taught piano and piano pedagogy since 1988. An active performer, his concerts are frequently broadcast on South Carolina Public Radio, and he has appeared as soloist with the South Carolina Symphony Orchestra, Jupiter Symphony, and Long Bay Symphony.
