Professor Philip Baker directs epidemiological research at QUT's School of Public Health & Social Work. His expertise spans evidence synthesis, chronic disease prevention, and Indigenous health equity. Holds PhD from University of Queensland and collaborates with CDC and Cochrane Public Health Group.
Research integrates systematic reviews, health technology assessment, and knowledge translation for public health policy. Current projects address violence prevention frameworks and ultra-processed food regulation across Southeast Asia.
