Philip A. Loring

Philip A. Loring is an Associate Professor and the Arrell Chair at the University of Guelph. He is an environmental social scientist, activist, and storyteller who focuses on food systems and security, fisheries, local food movements, environmental justice, and climatic and environmental change.

His work bridges research and storytelling, emphasizing sustainable living and community engagement with land and water. He is also involved in media and public speaking through his blog, podcast, and films.
