Prof. Phil Collins is a Professor of Video Art at the Academy of Media Arts Cologne (KHM), specializing in exploring social relationships through films, installations, and live events. He holds a prominent position in the Media and Fine Art faculty, contributing to both academic and artistic spheres.
His recent solo exhibitions include the British Film Institute (London, 2011), daadgalerie (Berlin, 2010), and San Francisco Museum of Modern Art (2006). Group exhibitions include the MUMOK (Vienna, 2011) and participations in biennials in Singapore, Berlin, and Istanbul. Collins' films have been showcased at festivals in Oberhausen, Rotterdam, and Berlin.
