Phil Beskid

Phil Beskid is an Associate Teaching Professor at Bowling Green State University's School of Media & Communication. With a professional background in radio broadcasting and audio engineering, he has held roles in promotions, on-air work, and production at major market radio stations. He contributes to academic conferences such as the Broadcast Educator’s Association and College Media Association.

His research focuses on convolution reverb in virtual reality and media content-audience relationships. He advises student-operated radio stations WBGU and Falcon Radio while teaching courses in audio/video production, interactive audio, and media fundamentals.

Beskid holds a B.A. in Broadcast Journalism from North Central College (Chicago) and an M.A. in Recording Arts from the University of Colorado, Denver.
