Phil Anderson

Dr. Phil Anderson serves as the Director for Innovation and Research Development at Northeastern University's Global Resilience Institute and holds an Affiliate Professor role in the School of Public Policy and Urban Affairs. He leads a university-wide initiative addressing societal resilience against man-made and natural threats. Previously, he directed the Homeland Security Studies & Analysis Institute (HSSAI) and served as ANSER's Chief Operating Officer. His career includes Marine Corps service and leadership roles at Lucent Technologies–Bell Labs.
