Phedeas Stephanides is a Senior Research Fellow at the School of Environmental Sciences, University of East Anglia, and a member of the Tyndall Centre for Climate Change Research, 3S Research Group (Science, Society and Sustainability), and ClimateUEA. His research focuses on societal engagement with sustainability, energy democracy, and grassroots innovations, particularly in the context of socio-technical transitions and energy justice. He holds a PhD from UEA (2017) and contributes to teaching modules on sustainable consumption, energy and people, and human geographies.
Key projects include leading the UKERC Public Engagement Observatory and contributing to the EU-funded TILOS and ICE projects.
