Petter Krus

Petter Krus is Professor and Head of the Division of Fluid and Mechatronic Systems at Linköping University. He leads research in fluid power systems and aeronautical engineering, with particular focus on the application of large language models in complex system design. As Wallenberg Professor at Brazil's Aeronautics Institute of Technology, he has established extensive international research collaborations.

His research develops computational methods for aerospace systems, hydraulic actuators, and multidisciplinary design optimization. Recent work explores AI-driven approaches to fluid power engineering and aircraft system design.

Honors include the Thulin Gold Medal for contributions to Swedish aeronautical research. He co-founded the Swedish Aeronautic Research Center (SARC) to advance aerospace innovation.
