Peter Wood

Prof. Peter Wood is Professor of Computer Science at Birkbeck, University of London's School of Computing and Mathematical Sciences. He serves as Postgraduate Education Lead and holds administrative responsibilities within the department. A member of the ACM since 1981, his career includes positions at King's College London and University of Cape Town.

Research focuses on fundamental database technologies including query languages for graph-structured data, ontology-mediated query optimization, and semantic web path query processing.
