Peter Weston

Dr. Peter Weston is a Senior Lecturer and Course Leader for Chemical Engineering at the Department of Engineering and Mathematics, Sheffield Hallam University. He holds a PhD and MEng in Chemical Engineering from the University of Sheffield (2014). His research focuses on bioenergy, sustainability, and waste heat recovery, supported by roles in the National Centre of Excellence for Food Engineering and Industry and Innovation Research Institute.

Research interests include advanced thermal treatment of biomass, CFD modelling, and energy-from-waste technologies. Teaching includes modules like Design Project, Fluid Modelling, and Chemical Process Control. His work integrates practical sustainable technologies with engineering education.
