Dr. Peter Snyder is a Professor in the Department of Business at Calvin University, where he has taught since 2008. He holds a PhD in Management Science from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, an MA in Church History and Theology from Wheaton College, an MBA from the University of Kansas, and a BBA from Baylor University. His professional background includes roles as an Industrial Engineer and Project Manager at Sears, Roebuck and Co.
Dr. Snyder's research focuses on strategic management, entrepreneurship, corporate governance, decision making, and innovation. He examines how organizational structures influence innovation processes and decision-making efficiency.
He has received numerous awards including the Calvin Center for Innovation in Business Fellowship (2010, 2011), Calvin Research Fellowship (2008, 2009, 2011), and was a finalist for the Academy of Management's Social Issues in Management Doctoral Dissertation Award.
