Peter Schlaier is Professor and Dean of Studies for the Bachelor of Architecture program at Stuttgart University of Applied Sciences (Hochschule für Technik Stuttgart), Faculty of Architecture and Design. He teaches Building Construction and Design, with affiliations including membership in the Association of German Architects (BDA) since 2014. Previously, he held positions as Acting Professor for Sustainable Construction at Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) and honorary lectureships at the University of Stuttgart and Umeå School of Architecture in Sweden.
His research focuses on architectural design, sustainable construction methodologies, wood applications in building exteriors, and cultural space conceptualization.
