Peter Rohner

Peter Rohner is an Adjunct Professor of Information Management at the University of St. Gallen (HSG), where he has taught since 2005. He holds the title of Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Business Engineering Group (BEG). His professional career spans over three decades as a founder and owner of multiple IT companies. Rohner is actively involved in fostering entrepreneurship and start-ups, serving on the board of the Thurgau Chamber of Commerce and Industry (IHK) and contributing to the Start-up Network Thurgau.

His research focuses on Digital Transformation, Business Innovation, and Enterprise IT. Together with Prof. Dr. Robert Winter, he leads the Competence Center for 'Business Innovation Excellence' (CC BIE), bridging academic research with practical applications to drive organizational impact. His work emphasizes knowledge transfer between theory and industry practice.

Rohner’s professional affiliations include executive roles in tech ventures and advisory positions promoting economic growth. His teaching and research activities reflect a commitment to addressing complex challenges in large-scale enterprise transformation projects.
