Peter Pihos

Peter Pihos is an Associate Professor at Western Washington University specializing in African American history and modern U.S. history. His research explores the intersection of race, policing, and urban politics from the 1950s to 1980s, with additional work on civil rights activists' use of historical narratives for social change.
